Smash or Save Jack-o-Lantern Contest

Get ready, Halifax! On Sunday, October 27th from 1-4 PM, we’re throwing the 1st Annual Smash or Save Jack-o-Lantern Contest. It’s free to enter, fun for the whole family, and it’s going to be epic!

Here’s how it works:

• Bring your own pumpkin (carve on-site or at home).
• Your pumpkin gets auctioned off—highest bidder decides whether it gets SMASHED or SAVED!
• Prizes for best pumpkin categories including adult, local business, children, overall best.
• All auction proceeds go to local charities supporting the homeless.

There will also be a kid’s only costume contest with a prize given out to the best dressed boy or ghoul! And while you’re there, warm up with a free bowl of chili, a hot cup of hot chocolate (courtesy of our friends at Quinprint) or chase that sugar high with candy for the kids (all free until its gone).
